Kid's Mushroom Embroidery April 24th 3-4:30pm

Learn to stitch a mushroom with fiber artist Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ. This 1.5 hour, hands-on workshop helps new stitchers (ages 12+) get started with embroidery. We'll cover prepping fabric in the hoop, splitting, knotting, and threading as well as basic embroidery stitches like the satin stitch, back stitch, and straight stitch.
Each attendee will receive a full kit that includes: a wooden embroidery hoop, mushroom transfer design, an embroidery needle, full skeins of embroidery thread, cream cotton fabric, a needle threader, and printed instructions.
