Step up your throwing skills with our new Intro to Wheel Throwing class with local ceramic artist Amanda Figler! Class will meet Fridays, January 9th - Feb 27th, from 12-3pm.
Class cost is $575 ($460 for members) and includes 8, 3 hour classes, 25lbs of clay, access to our glazes & underglazes, use of wheels and kiln during class hours and 3 hours of open studio time per week. Our ceramic studio is open to all students enrolled in a multi-week course 7 days a week, 6am-12am. Additional bags of clay may be purchased at the studio. At this time we are only firing clay purchased in the studio.
In this 8-week course will Amanda will bring skill appropriate approachable projects to help potters, who have taken at least one beginner session, level up.
Depending on student interest class may include throwing off the hump, lidded vessels, and a variety of surface design techniques.
