This 1.5 hr workshop with artist Irene Rex will focus on line work, and strategies for filling in backgrounds around those details. We'll start with warm-up exercises for the techniques we'll use to watercolor paint a whole bouquet of flowers, and you'll leave with your paintings + artist-grade paint samples to keep practicing with at home! Beginners welcome! Irene's style is very loose rather than realistic, so you'll learn the secrets to painting the impression of flowers & other subjects with as few brushstrokes as possible. Adults & high schoolers welcome
